Scientific Output

ICN is highly competitive at an international level. It ranks within the top 20 of all Spanish research institutes (including universities and national science foundations) for competitive funding received from the European 7th Framework program. Six of its seven Research Group Leaders are ICREA Professors, and two of its researchers were awarded ERC starting grants.

Annually ICN´s researchers publish in the order of 70 papers in peer reviewed journals, including Science, Nature Nanotechnology and others.
